Week 28 – Nate

Last Sunday Nila and I went out on Clinton Lake with Jon, Maria and baby Grace. The weather was perfect; a great day to be out on a boat.

Week 28 - Jordan

We went to the Red River Valley Fair last weekend. Among other things, we went to the small circus that was showing. Despite being really warm out (for Fargo), we had a good time and mainly just walked around to look at things. All the photos from the fair are right here if you're interested.

Week 27 – Nate

This cutie lives a couple doors down from us. I happened to have my camera out one evening this week while she was out running around and couldn’t resist taking a few shots.

Week 27 - Jordan

Happy 4th of July! Molly's parents came up to join us and I didn't end up taking too many pictures. However, the night of the 4th I went and walked around for a bit, hoping to catch someone's late-night fireworks show. Unfortunately, I didn't get any single person's show, but I did get a bunch of random ones while standing on a mosquito-covered bridge a block south of our house.

Week 26 - Jordan

Last Sunday, we had a visitor for a couple hours. Due to weird pick-up times at the local dog 'hotel', we housed Cliff and Jess's puppy, Bella, for a bit. Roxy and Bella got along rather well, chasing each other around the living room for a good while.

Week 26 – Nate

Our cul-de-sac is full of kids who have been enjoying summer to the fullest. The only downside is that sometimes we end up with “obstructions” in the road. This particular vehicle was parked near the end of our driveway with no owner in sight. I tried to start it up and go for a spin but I seem to be over the weight limit.

Week 25 - Jordan

It's been pretty nice out. The clouds actually looked pretty fantastic, so I was looking for a good setting to take this. However, I was afraid the clouds or the sun would run away from me before I was able to, so I stuck with the backyard.

I really need to improve my HDR technique to include closing down the aperture more and, I don't know, actually using my tripod. In the small version, you can't really see it, but there's some pretty bad fringing around the houses. Let's have that be our little secret, alright?

Week 25 - Nate

Another picture of our adorable niece this week. I know this is 3 Grace posts in a row but she’s really all I’ve been taking pictures of for the last three weeks. I promise I’ll come up with something different next week.

Week 24 – Nate

Grace Christine Nelson joined us this week (on the 14th). Maria and Jon stopped by the house today for a few pictures. It was tough picking just one to use but this one really stood out. The hand is Jon’s… I just love the way she’s looking up toward him while clutching his finger. So cute! The rest of the pictures (and some Nila took at the hospital) are up here.
