I'm learning quite a bit at the Humane Society. I also learned, the quickest way to getting myself killed would be to adopt a giant, sweet, dog like Leon here. :-( He curled up in my lap.

Week 10 - Nate

Our Bradford Pears are in full bloom. Pretty as can be but they stink like none other. Good for a picture, at least.

Week 09 - Jordan

Went to Minneapolis to see my family and watch a baseball tournament. Pretty fun! My niece, Ellie, is pretty darn cute, too.

Week 9 - Nate

In Week 7, we got things all set up for a photo shoot that Sarah wanted nothing to do with. This week, she was a bit more cooperative and we got a few good shots. This was one of my favorites.

Week 8 - Nate

Sarah’s baptism was last weekend. After the main event, we had everyone over for snacks and drinks. Nila of course made cupcakes which she topped with chocolate crosses.

Week 07 - Jordan

Like I said last week, I recently started volunteering at the Humane Society. What you can expect from that is a lot of my weekly photos will be related to it. :-) In this instance, I decided I needed some practice with my technique. Kirby (my cat) was nice enough to hop in front of my camera and sit there while I tried some things out.

Week 7 - Nate

Inspired by Jordan’s cat pictures, I decided to try out my hand at a white background/flash setup. Sarah wasn’t wanting her picture taken, so I had to settle for one of her Valentine’s day presents – a duck from aunt Anna. I have a little ways to go before I get as good as Jordan, but not bad for my first try.

Week 06 - Jordan

Just this week, I started volunteering at the local Humane Society taking photos of cats and dogs that are up for adoption. It should be a pretty good challenge.
